Inclusion problem:

Sometimes the inclusion doesn't work first time and in some cases can happen that the gateway add the node id to the device but somehow didn’t add it to the list of its devices, that device can’t be included to the gateway unless the node id is “erased” from it, that is what the exclusion or factory to reset do. To solve this you have to exclude first the device (even if is not visible in the gateway) follow the procedure described bellow:

Exclusion:

1. Connect the device to the power supply
2. Make sure the device is within direct range of your Z-Wave gateway (hub) or use a hand-held Z-Wave remote to perform exclusion
3. Enable add/remove mode on your Z-Wave gateway (hub)
4. Toggle the switch connected to the I1 terminal 3 times within 5 seconds (The device have to get On/Off signal 3 times, meaning 3 times push of the push button or with the normal button On / Off / On / Off /On / Off)

In case that the exclusion is not effective you can try to reset to defaults the device guide here. After the Node ID is reset you can proceed to include the device normally as follows:

Inclusion:

1. Enable add/remove mode on your Z-Wave gateway (hub)
2. Connect the device to the power supply
3. Auto-inclusion will be initiated within 5 seconds of connection to the power supply and the device will automatically enroll in your network

If it doesn’t include try to toggle the switch connected to the I1 terminal 3 times within 5 seconds (same procedure as mentioned above)
